So far I have tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter, the Chocolate Almond Butter and the Cinnamon Raisin Almond Butter.

I’m not sure how I like it. It’s really grainy! I think it’s the Xylitol! Not crazy about the first 2 flavors. However; the Cinnamon Raisin is good and loaded with Raisins! If you like Cinnamon Raisin, you will like it! It does have 14g of protein per 2tbsp that’s double normal Peanut Butter and Almond Butter. It also has superfood: Flax Seed which is high in Omegas! With all the positives, a little grainy can be overlooked!

However; I will personally stay away from the Chocolate nuts butters! If I have Chocolate Nutbutter, I want it to be freakin delicious! So far the Cinnamon Raisin is a winner! Stay tuned for the other flavors.

What I am super disappointed about, is I don’t have the Chocolate Coconut Almond Butter! I bet that’s the best of them all! Yes; you have the grainy Chocolate Almond Butter, but I bet the awesomeness of the Coconut, offsets it and makes it delicious! I wish I had a jar!!!!!

But I do have the rest, so stay tuned!

Ok first let me start by saying I’m not a fan of Caramel or Toffee! I don’t like anything that gets stuck in my teeth! That being said, I like the flavor of Toffee, but not Toffee. I wasn’t looking forward to the Toffee Peanut Butter, but I have to say it is the absolute best so far!! A tad bit better than the Cinnamon Raisin! They still have the grainy xylitol texture! I would like them to cut the amount they put in! You guys really don’t need that much! The flavors rock and don’t need the extra xylitol! I would try cutting it in thirds and then in half and see how much you really need! I bet it’s a lot less than what you are using and it will save on food cost!

I just had the plain Peanut Butter and I have to say its one of the best! The xylitol content is less as it should be and it’s still a little grainy, but not like the first 2 flavors!

I had the plain Almond Butter and it was evenly as good as the Peanut Butter the same comments as above.

I like the cinnamon raisin the best with the exception of the higher xylitol content. If they lower it and tweak the recipe just a little they will be one of the best companies around!

This recipe looks great, but I would add a little nut butter some: Sweet Spreads and Youfresh Naturals or Barney Butter or all three lol!

Add 2 tbsp Sweet Spreads
2tbsp Youfresh Naturals or 2tbsp Barney Butter or 1 and 1!

I would do the Choco coconut Youfresh Naturals to give it texture and Barney Butter raw chia to get the benefits of the chia!

I love Nut butters!

Recipe: Ultimate Nut-Butter Protein Balls


Do you want a power packed Preworkout snack that will fuel you through your entire workout?

Then LJB’s Ultimate Nut-Butter Protein Balls are your answer for a go to snack!

1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup youfresh naturals nut butter (your choice of flavor)
2tsps sweet spreads (your choice of flavor)
2 scoops ETB protein of your choice
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup organic non-sweetened dark cocoa chips

Mix all ingredients in a bowl add a little fat free milk or almond milk if needed (because of protein powder) once finished chill for 30-40min then roll into balls and enjoy! Keep refrigerated!

Can be wrapped in Saran Wrap and taken to gym for pre-workout power snack!

They should last quite some time in the fridge!

I added chia seeds. I like recipes that are the same but are constantly different. What does that mean?

You can change the ETB protein flavors for a totally new recipe

You can change the Youfresh Naturals nut butter for a different taste cookie dough, cinnamon etc..

You can change the Sweet Spreads flavor for a different healthy coconut butter – cinnamon, mint chocolate etc…

You can even change the Seeds – Chia, Sesame, Poppy etc…

You can swap out the glue too: from honey to agave to fresh organic maple syrup

Wanna go crazy? You can swap the Oatmeal for Quinoa 😳
