Product Review: Gym Gear – BFR Bands (blood flow restriction) bands

I got exactly what you see here, but my legs are red. I was hoping the legs had a easy on off buckle like the arms. I’m not sure how to wrap the legs. I hope there are directions!

The package is heavy and the arm wraps seemed to be very well made but I only looked at them for a second.

Unfortunately, yesterday was biceps. I’ll have to google if they are good for triceps as well.

Super Saiyan says use occlusion training on arms they use machine curl biceps and rope push down triceps at the end of the workout every 4-6 weeks they say this isn’t something you want to do every workout.

They are using a Mark Bell slingshot band. I believe this one

Which is not a good idea! It is not designed for that! You cannot adjust the bands to make sure the blood traveling into the muscle is still going on and the blood leaving is slowed down.

Don’t use products the way they aren’t intended! And if they are not in good shape, throw them out! I have seen too many people get hurt from ripped lifting straps because they keep them too long! If they start to rip throw them out!

The same goes for these bands! They are designed to be the thickness they are if they start to rip, they are no longer that wide and can cause injury!

These bands are no joke! You have to know exactly what you are doing! Listen to the directions! If there’s pain or numb hands (pins and needles) it’s too tight! You are essentially putting a tourniquet on your arm!

Tourniquets:

Leaving it on too long, causing neurovascular damage and tissue death. Generally, permanent nerve, muscle and blood vessel damage can occur after about two hours. Placing it too far away from the wound, or on the wrong type of wound (i.e. wounds at a joint) Fabricating a tourniquet from an inappropriate material.

You don’t want your limbs amputated because you are an idiot! So pay close attention to the directions!

Once you learn what you are doing and aren’t a beginner in the gym:

This seems like a great way to help me build leg strength and muscles with my military knee injury! You are supposed to lift 30% of your one rep max until failure.

So, light weight, high reps = success! That’s a dream come true for anyone with a joint injury!

I can’t wait to try it!

**Update** January 10th 2018

I tried the bands on my arms last night and I’m not sure if I tightened them enough.

I did feel tightness in the muscle especially at the top by the band site. At the end of my workout, I did 4 sets of one arm machine curl and 4 sets of triceps press down. After removing the bands the muscle was still tight at the band site for 15 mins after.

Today my triceps are actually sore, so I believe they did help!

stay tuned for legs tomorrow! This I can’t wait for!

**Update** January 11th 2018

WOW! I just did 4 sets of 15 leg extensions with 70lbs and I feel like I did a full leg workout! Next time I will save it till my last exercise instead of my first! Lol

Ok back to working out!

in case you are wondering which numbers I used because the leg straps have easy to line up numbers, my quads are too big to line up the numbers. So it was 10 and blank Lol I was about 2-3″ away from the 1.

hmm ok new update same day! I gave my legs a 15 min break to return to normal and now I am lifting more than I have since I came back six weeks ago! Maybe the bands increased the blood flow in the quads after releasing it?

IFBB vs WBFF is there even a comparison? No! Sick of the NPC/IFBB MONOPOLY? WBFF Seriously?? Read inside!

The WBFF is claiming:
Sick of the NPC/IFBB MONOPOLY? YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE!

Ok… Just when I think MAYBE we can all just grow up and move on, something gets brought to my attention by SEVERAL sources. And, since I am known for always bringing out the TRUTH? Well there was no way I would not bring this to everyones attention. I have written COUNTLESS times that I am a fan of the sport. A fan of the industry. I do NOT care if you compete in the WBFF, NPC, IFBB, CBBF, UFE, WNSO, FAME, or any of the COUNTLESS other organizations! NOT ALL PEOPLE BELONG IN THE SAME ORGANIZATION! PERIOD! We all are at different levels, have different physiques, do different things to achieve those physiques, etc. For any one organization to tell people that if you compete elsewhere then you are banned from that organization? Is one that is hiding SOMETHING! Flat out! No doubt in my head they are afraid people will find out that things are run better elsewhere, and since they are so used to running things like tyrants, they don’t want to hear peoples suggestions based on what they experienced elsewhere.

When you have one organization that wants to control an entire market, that is called a monopoly and historically, a monopoly usually doesn’t last forever. Sooner or later people get sick of having no choice. Of having to bow down to the rules made by a few who are power hungry. People get sick and tired of the politics and games played and favoritism and not being able to do a single thing about it. Well, I have news for the NPC and IFBB… they are NO LONGER the ONLY option for competitors. Let there be no doubt in your head… the IFBB… International Federation of BODYBUILDERS? They own bodybuilding! Absolutely! No argument here. When die hard fans want to see the human body pushed WAY past what it could be naturally? ABSOLUTELY the place to watch is IFBB. Hell if there is ever a chance for me to catch a show? I will in a heartbeat. Because I love it! I have FRIENDS in the IFBB. I’ve competed against guys in the IFBB. BUT… unfortunately the truth is that bodybuilding is not as popular as it has been in the past and that is because the ORGANIZATION kept rewarding the freakier physiques. As a result? The bodybuilders have lost fans, have lost endorsements to UFC fighters and football players and fitness models, and the sport has been thrown right back to where it started… as a carnival side show attraction. Hell even the Mr. Olympia went from the Mandalay Bay to the most run down hotel on the strip.

Besides bodybuilding however, all of the other divisions? Are nothing more than FILLER for the shows. They do next to nothing for any of the women. Even the pros. I do not see much happening for the physique competitors. Figure standards are a travesty. And they KILLED womens bodybuilding which is now in it’s final couple years and has already been pulled from the Arnold. Once again, is it the fault of the athlete? Not at all! One hundred percent the organization that kept rewarding the physiques that were extreme. And do they FIX a division in trouble?Of course not! They simply let it die and start a new division to take it’s place… physique.

When the WBFF started, we were ridiculed for having “model categories”! Who would want to see men in swimwear? Who would want to see women in costumes and gowns. Well… they say imitation is the best form of flattery, because as the WBFF has done something that NO other organization has ever done… become a legitimate threat to the IFBB, all of a sudden new divisions pop up which mimic ours but with different names. HOWEVER we aren’t just popular because of our divisions. It is also how we run them. How we market them. What we do for the athletes, etc. The IFBB and NPC does not seem to understand this, and that is why, again… these divisions are just FILLER in their bodybuilding shows.

In the WBFF, women are celebrated. The women divisions are the most POPULAR divisions and the most glamorous in the industry. I will point out however that there are some smaller organizations that DO understand how to market and take care of these divisions and they are experiencing great success. SO where we at the WBFF was the NPC/IFBB ONLY concern, NOW all of a sudden there are OTHER organizations threatening them also. WHY? Because people realize they have a choice!

Both myself and owner Paul Dillett will tell people all day every day… if you want to compete elsewhere? DO it! Hell we invite you to! Because we WANT you to know what WE know! And that is there is NO other organization quite like us. Again… if you find a fit elsewhere and that is where you would like to compete, and represent as a professional? I wish you all the luck in the world. Hell I myself have clients in almost every organization that there is around the world! I AM A FAN OF THE ATHLETE! I personally love and believe in the WBFF. The WBFF has been a perfect fit for me. And DO NOT think it is because I PLACE better here, because I actually PLACED better back when I was in the NPC. But that is what makes us different. It doesn’t matter WHERE you place! There is opportunity for everyone! Since in the WBFF? I myself have a monthly magazine column, have written close to 200 articles online, have had SEVERAL magazine covers, was cast in a HBO cable series Pilot, have been featured in many different magazines, and I have had features written about me on bodybuilding.com TWICE! When I was in the NPC I got… well… nothing besides my trophies. Kind of a no brainer there!

As the WBFF has become recognized as a legitimate organization in the industry, having athletes grace the covers of almost every industry magazine, plus NON industry magazines such as Playboy, FHM, Maxim, etc, the NPC/IFBB has almost made it their mission to bash us. YET… the more they bash us, the more popular we become because people are not stupid! They know that when you have someone bashing another, usually it’s because they are threatened or jealous. People SEE how glamorous our shows are. They see how many opportunities come our way, and they want to be a part of it! Can you blame them? In the beginning, the NPC/IFBB would try showing their power by working deals with our top athletes and taking them. Promising them pro cards, and delivering. Then soon after, burying them. Well, not anymore. People are on to the game. They are no longer leaving the WBFF for the IFBB. Just the opposite! Now men and women from the IFBB are jumping to the WBFF! Such legends as Monica Brant knows the shady games and politics that a monopoly plays so she came to the WBFF. SO have many others. This year at the World Championships we have 4 bodybuilders who have left the IFBB, and will be joining the WBFF. They recognize that the IFBB does absolutely NOTHING for them, and if the want opportunities, the WBFF is the way to go!

My main reason for writing this article? On facebook, regardless of organization, we are all in the same industry. We all have similar goals. We all support eachother. Hell, that will be the day that ANYONE is going to EVER tell me that I can’t support a friend or client or just be a fan of someone in another organization. Well, from so many different sources it’s ridiculous, a letter made it into my e-mail, and it was written by JM Manion and written to all FMG athletes and personnel. You can read the letter for yourself below, but the purpose of the letter? To THREATEN people who are “LIKING” or “SHARING” pictures or posts of non NPC/IFBB athletes. He is saying that they are NOT ALLOWED to LIKE a picture! AND if they are caught DOING so, they will be in Breach of Contract. Ok… flat out? GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

He even goes on further and says he doesn’t care if you are doing it to support a friend, or photographer, etc. Are you kidding me? It wasn’t long ago that internet sites like Sioux Country were threatened to no longer feature any NPC/IFBB pictures, or material since now only OFFICIAL websites are allowed to do so. Well now a similar letter has come out threatening athletes not to like or support any athlete or photographer that is in or works with another organization? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? There isn’t a day that goes by that I am not liking a picture of an athlete from another organization. It’s called mutual respect. Or if I see a photographers picture and it’s beautiful, I am going to like it! I don’t care WHERE the subject competes if at all!

Uh… Mr. Manion? We are not like the NPC/IFBB. We never have been. We do not GO AFTER athletes like you have done to us (pathetically). Over and over Paul Dillett has wondered WHY they just don’t leave us alone. We do our own thing! Well the answer to that question is because we are successful, and they are going in reverse. Period. We are leading the industry in digital media, and they are still printing magazines that drop in numbers every year substantially. Which is the cause for the NEW monopoly they are attempting ONLINE by telling other sites that have supported them for YEARS that they can NO LONGER feature NPC/IFBB material. Funny thing? Our magazine which reaches over 2 million people worldwide which is FAR greater than ANY print magazine… is FREE! And anyone who would like to feature us on their sites? Go right ahead. WE WANT people to see the difference in the WBFF and it’s athletes! We have nothing to hide. No dirty little secrets we are trying to cover up.

People are fed up with monopolies. Even TEAMS in the NPC/IFBB that “GUARANTEE” placings and pro cards. People are sick of it! SO last month a we had around 10 members from one team alone leave the NPC/IFBB and join the WBFF. Hey, if you want to compete for an organization that is going to threaten you like that? Hell… go right ahead. I will still like your pictures even if you cannot like mine back because you are not ALLOWED to! BUT if you are fed up, and realize that people in charge of that organization have just gotten ridiculous with the power? Then feel free to check out our list of shows and give them a try. Or hey, MAYBE the WBFF isn’t for you. Ok fine… the at least do your research and find one that IS FOR YOU! But remember… you DO have a choice!

This Is admirable at the least however, the standards are off. If you are going up against a giant, you have to have an equalizer! If they have a tank, you have a tank. If they have a Nuke, you have a Nuke! The way to separate yourself is have something they don’t! Oh, you have a Nuke! We have a disintegration ray! Oh we don’t have that exactly!

But, if they have a nuke and you have a tank and you rename your tank a nuke they will just laugh at you!

What am I talking about? I am specifically talking about Women’s Physique!

The WBFF has:
Pro Fitness Champion – which sets it self apart

However; Andreia Brazier Claims to be a Physique Athlete – now she is lining herself up with the IFBB categories! And not pro fitness Champion!

That brings comparison!

This is not anything against Andreia! She is gorgeous! And nearly perfect!

However; see below!

20131228-094541.jpg
Now lets put her down a level in the IFBB Figure Category would she win?
That one you would have to call!

20131228-094854.jpg
I would say yes!
But definitely not Physique!

20131228-095137.jpg
The WBFF should have stepped in and said listen you can’t use the word physique! And this would have stopped the comparison!

Does it discredit the WBFF in this instance yes! It makes them look fools against the IFBB!

Does it take away the hard work and dedication their athletes have? Not at all! Does comparing themselves to the IFBB discredit them? YES ABSOLUTELY!!

WBFF JUST DO YOUR OWN THING!

Look at MMA! The UFC IS THE MONOPOLY!!

Does Bellator compare themselves with the UFC? NO! They just do their thing!!

Does the public compare? Yes they do! But they enjoy both!

If you are going to compete with the IFBB then you are going to have to match tank to tank and nuke to nuke not tank to nuke!

Or like I said above; make a disintegration ray and call it such! If the IFBB comes out with a laser gun don’t compare your ray to their gun! Stay apart! Do your thing!

This is actually a hidden article on business tips!

I got a comment on Instagram from WBFF Pro Krystal K_Fitcoach

She agreed but added the WBFF stays more naturally with muscle on like a women should look.

My response to that is:
What “should a women look like” is a “butch lesbian” (I use this term not in a derogatory way just as a popular reference that the public knows) any less a women then a Victoria Secret model? Is Mama June less a women than Lolo Jones? If it’s by pure poundage then definitely no!

The beauty about this world is there are many different body types to suit your desire and please your self-image! I’m sure DLB looks in the mirror and sees parts of her body she thinks are too small. I’m sure Cory Everson, Lenda Murray and other thought they were too small and wanted to be bigger! So like I said, I challenge you to define what a women should look like! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

To All of you D&D nerds not this beholder! 👇

LMFAO! I’m a D&D nerd too, so that’s a salute to us hehe 💪

I’m sure Cory Everson, Lenda Murray and others thought they were too small and wanted to be bigger! So like I said, I challenge you to define what a women should look like! The one thing about the IFBB is they have a division for all female bodybuilding from Bikini to Ms Olympia Bodybuilding

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

To All of you D&D nerds not this beholder! 👇

Updated Results!! UFC 168: Rousey vs Tate 2! Will Cupcake destroy the loudmouth arrogant Rowdy

I am still super pissed off at the arrogance of Ronda Rousey! Saying that basically if the planets align she could beat Cain Velasquez or anyone at anytime! Ridiculous! Any heavyweight even the worst in the roster would crush you with one punch! (See the article here about her arrogant comment)

I also don’t like her lack of professionalism on the ultimate fighter! I hope Miesha Tate destroys her and takes the title! She wasn’t the only one wrong Miesha and her team shouldn’t have been teasing her like a bunch of high school kids, but that’s kinda the crap they do on TUF. This was indeed the best season of TUF!!

Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey (7-0) squares off Saturday, Dec. 28, against Miesha “Cupcake” Tate (13-4) in the co-main event of UFC 168 and there will be plenty of fireworks in this UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship showdown.

This is the second fight in the rivalry between these two MMA women. The first bout took place in the Strikeforce promotion for the company’s women’s title and ended in the first round when Rousey forced Tate to submit via her signature armbar.

Now, after serving as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 18, the two combatants will go head-to-head once again with the championship on the line. The resulting in-ring war has fans genuinely excited about UFC 168 and its co-main event.

Here is all the vital viewing information and a full preview of Rousey vs. Tate 2.

Co-Main Event Preview and Prediction

There is serious hype around the UFC Middleweight Championship rematch between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva, but there is just as much talk surrounding the women’s bantamweight title fight.

Rousey vs. Tate 2 should be a great co-main event.

These two MMA veterans first met March 3, 2012, in one of the highest-profile women’s fights in the sport’s history. With both stars drawing mainstream notoriety due to their elite ability and good looks, each has helped put the sport of women’s MMA on the map.

The rematch is also coming at the perfect time.

After the success of The Ultimate Fighter 18, Tate and Rousey have successfully told a backstory to this fight that even casual fans can enjoy. Rousey came off as a bully during the production of the competition show, and Tate looked like the down-to-earth person fans could relate to.

Rousey spoke to Jim Rome about why her opponent was put in this fight:

“Miesha has a nice ass and she has an ongoing rivalry with me and that’s the only reason she was picked for this fight. The rivalry is why she is even around. It’s not because of her athletic merit. She really has to play that part of it up (rivalry) because that’s all she really has. She has to make it personal because you can’t make it an athletic rivalry because there really is no comparison. I’m an Olympic athlete and she’s a high school wrestler.”

With weeks of interaction and tension, the frenzy over the title fight has reached a fever pitch. UFC fans have been forced to take sides in this match due to all of the well-publicized, pre-fight banter.

As much as this fight will draw fans to buy UFC 168, the action in the Octagon will not live up to the hype. Tate deserves credit for her elite wrestling, striking and submission work (it helped earn her 13 career wins), but there is no fighter in the sport more dominant right now than Rousey.
Rousey has seven career victories. While that doesn’t feel overly impressive, all have come via submission due to an armbar. Most credit her ability to force her opponents to tap out to her elite work in the sport of judo.

As one of the best female judoka in the world, Rousey will match Tate’s wrestling ability and use her momentum against her. If the challenger doesn’t shift her game plan of taking the fight to the ground early to a more stand-up-oriented mentality, the champion will dominate this fight as she did the first.

Tate is a great fighter, but Rousey is the most dangerous woman in the world.

Predicted Winner: Ronda Rousey via first-round submission.

You see what I mean about arrogant! Yes Ronda you are right Miesha does have a nice ass!

The reason this event is happening is because Anderson Silva was arrogant and cocky and got his ass beat! Keep being arrogant Ronda and you will suffer the same fate! The only difference is: Anderson is going to hand Weidman his head!

You forget Miesha had the title before you took it! Maybe she was cocky and lost it to you!

All I can say to Miesha is: “I hope you have been training nothing but Jiu Jitsu since your loss to Ronda in March of 2012!

Back to the Weidman fight! I have trained with Matt Serra black belts Joe Scarola and Tom Muller and they are both awesome! I really enjoyed rolling with Tom he has a gentle encouraging teaching style that allows you to grasp the knowledge without force.

Weidman is also a product of Matt therefore He has the best chance at beating Silva again. However; I believe Anderson Silva is going to come after him like a hungry dog and leave all his in ring bullshit at home where it belongs!

**Note to all fighters**
If you truly are a powerhouse like Iron Mike Tyson in his prime and you can finish your opponent in seconds especially after months of anticipation then do it!! That’s a real champion! That’s the best pound for pound champion that’s ever lived! Not some bullshit arrogant hot dog sticking his chin out and dancing around the ring!

You ever see Bas Rutten dance around the ring? You ever see Fedor dance around the ring?

Fedor is the best MMA fighter to ever step in the ring! However; he started in 2000 and just as Randy Couture he didn’t retire when he should have! And now people are talking shit!

When Fedor was on the top of his game no one could touch him! That’s the mark of a true champion!

If Weidman can defeat Silva again we may have another true champion in the making!

Good luck to Miesha and Weidman!

**Update** December 28th 2013
Well Ronda won! There were a few times the fight went back and forth! Miesha’s downfall was trying to throw Ronda and Ronda reversing it almost every time! That took a lot of wind out of her and Ronda eventually pulled her one and only move off! Her armbar. I want to see her try that with Cyborg!!

But the huge shock was the Weidman vs Anderson Silva match! Anderson was losing the entire time and was actually knocked out and for some reason the referee (I think it was herb dean wasn’t paying attention to him lol) didn’t step in and stop the fight! Which would have been a huge career saving move for Anderson Silva! Unfortunately; he didn’t stop it and a few minutes later Anderson threw a shitty low leg kick and Weidman blocked it with a perfect Muay Thai knee block and Anderson snapped his own shin bone (compound fracture, broke in half like a rubber leg!) on Weidman’s knee! Weidman obviously retains the title! Basically, ending Anderson’s career! Not only did he take Anderson’s title, but he also ended his career!

Good job a Weidman! I don’t like to see someone hurt themselves that bad! But Anderson just got best with the Karma stick for all the years of being cocky!

The most dominant badass in the sport finally returns to give John Cena a run for his money!
Batista returning to WWE before ‘Royal Rumble’, let ‘Wrestlemania’ speculation begin
By Chris E. Hayner | December 23, 2013 9:15 PM ET

20131225-214023.jpg
After a ticketing website accidentally let word slip over the weekend, WWE let the cat out of the bag during “RAW” on Monday (Dec. 23). Dave Bautista, who wrestled for the company as Batista, is set to return to professional wrestling on January 20.

His return will come one week before the “Royal Rumble,” which should immediately launch speculation that he’ll be winning the battle royal and appearing in the main event of “Wrestlemania XXX.” It’s a strange time for Batista to make his return, considering he is about to reach new heights in his career as one of the stars of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” in which he plays Drax the Destroyer.

Of course, it’s not the first instance of a wrestler-turned-movie star returning to WWE for “Wrestlemania.” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has done it the last three years, once as host and twice for matches.

Batista is a former six-time world champion for WWE, who first debuted with the company in 2002 before leaving in 2010 to pursue acting and MMA fighting.
-zap2it.com

Batista finally realized he sucked at MMA (he’s too old) and he wanted to continue making the huge bucks! Wise choice! We all miss you! WWE has truly sucked since you were gone!

However, as a fighter Pictured above: he looks leaner, meaner with a lot less mass! Will he look like a baby in the WWE with all the monsters? Will he be the same old Animal? In that picture he looks to be the same size as Randy Orten.

If he is the same size (but more ripped) as Randy Orten can he hang with the massive John Cena?

Will Batista come back larger than ever?

Stay tuned and lets find out!

Controversy: Ronda Rousey says she can beat up Cain Velasquez what kinda crack is she smoking!

20131115-185205.jpg
UPDATED NOV 9, 2013 1:53 PM ET

SHE GOT GAME
Which female athletes have shown an ability to play with the boys?
Ronda Rousey thinks she can beat UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.

Not in a race.

Not at a surfing contest.

Not in a who-can-hit-the-most-armbars-in-one-minute competition.

Rousey thinks she can beat Velasquez — the baddest man on the planet — in a fight. At MMA.

“In any given moment, under the right circumstance, I think it is possible,” Rousey told the Spanish-language newspaper Hoy (translated by Yahoo). “You cannot tell me that it is physically impossible. It is possible that in any given moment that I could beat him. I simply believe in my possibilities.”

Let’s hope something got lost in translation.

Never mind that Rousey, the UFC women’s bantamweight champion, gives up around 100 pounds — or about one whole Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson — to Velasquez. Never mind that Velasquez is, you know, a trained fighter who is arguably the greatest UFC heavyweight of all time. Never mind that Rousey would have a difficult time beating any man who actually is her weight.

Ronda thinks she’s capable of anything. And maybe after the last year it’s hard to blame her. Since January, Rousey has debuted in the UFC, become one of the most popular fighters in the world, landed on the cover of ESPN The Magazine and been cast in two blockbuster movies — “Fast & Furious 7” and “The Expendables 3”.

Even before any of that, Rousey was undefeated without so much as a challenge. No woman has ever taken her past the first round. And prior to MMA, the 26-year-old was an Olympic bronze medalist in judo — the first woman from the U.S. to ever medal in the sport.

Ronda Rousey is one of the most incredible athletes on the face of the Earth — man or woman. But beating Velasquez? The guy who just ran roughshod over Junior dos Santos for almost five rounds? That’s a tough sell.

Unless of course Velasquez refuses to hit a woman. In which case, look for a first-round armbar finish.
-msn.foxnews.com

First of all! What kind of crack is Ronda Rousey smoking? Whatever it is it seems like the writer of this article is smoking the same kind!

1. By no means is Cain the baddest man on the planet!

2. By no means is he arguably the greatest heavyweight champion of all time! He isn’t even in the running for that!

That still belongs to Fedor!
#1 – Fedor Emelianenko
Record: 31-4, 1 NC
Age: 34
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 223
Style: Sambo
Birthplace: Rubizhne, Ukraine

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
Record: 33-6-1, 1 NC

Frank Mir
Record: 15-5

Mark Coleman
Record: 16-10

That’s just to name a few!
What about Bas Rutten Cro Cop, Wanderlei Silva!

How can Cain 9-0 even be considered!

How bout Dan Severn! 101-19, 7 draws

Ok now back to Ronda’s crack dream!
First of all the fight would never happen because there is no Octagon big enough for Ronda & Cain and & Ronda’s ego for even saying this!

I hope Miesha tears her up and shuts her up!!

First off she’s using Cain as an example because he is the Current Heavyweight champ! What she is saying is of the planets align she can beat anyone!

The Current UFC Heavyweight Division tops out at 275lbs and Ronda’s division is 135lbs

Now lets say for example Cain can’t punch or kick Ronda because one full force shot will end her career and put her on life support!

Lets say for example they don’t grapple because one full force slam from a heavyweight with him landing on her will send her to the ICU and probably sever her spine!

Lets say for example they start on their knees!

Her wrestling an over 225lb fighter lets say she gets on top somehow because a 250lb fighter just lying on top of a 135lb girl is dead weight enough to immobilize her! Let alone him fighting back and applying grappling (Jiu Jitsu) techniques!

If she gets on top of him at 135lbs that’s like having a bare bones barbell on your chest! He will fling her halfway across the ring the second she gets on top!

The only way she will she can possibly win is: on the Fourth of July, between 3:55 and 4 PM during a hailstorm with a stampede of wild elephants running through his house with one baby zebra!

Ronda needs to keep fighting the little boys in the new baby divisions of the UFC and stop thinking she can hang with the big boys! Because its not going to happen!

Wait a min she can have Sex with Cain in the cowgirl position (she’s on top) and when he’s about to cum; sucker punch him with a pair of brass knuckles! There you Ronda wins!

Maybe that’s what she was talking about? If not she’s definitely smoking crack!!

WAKE UP! Give up your delusions and face your fear! Stop running from Cyborg! She will crush you! Ronda has fought in Cristiane Cyborg Justino’s featherweight division before! But she has lowered weight and entered the UFC to hide from Cyborg and refuses to fight her!

Cyborgs response:

It’s amazing to me that Rhonda is talking about her beating Cain. Who’s a heavyweight man. But she won’t go to a weight where she has fought other fights at. And challenge the best female fighter in the world. Not being cocky. But I believe that this Being one athlete at the top And many agree. Yet she will put cains name in her mouth, and not mine. She is a actress after all. Talking about a fantasy fight. When there’s a super fight right in front of her. Yet she talks about fantasy.

Before I get my balls busted lets get something straight! I used to like Ronda before she started opening her mouth and her ego blew the fuck up!

I hope Miesha destroys her and puts her ego in check! Then I will probably like her again!

UFC Overeem is back!!

This is the first power packed UFC roster in a long time!

Frankie Edgar vs Jose Aldo

Rashad Evans vs Little Nog Antonio Rogerio Nogueria

Alistair Overeem vs Bigfoot Silva

20130129-151039.jpg
Which is actually a joke match! Bigfoot Silva is not up to par with Overeem. Overeem will run over him like a freight train!

So, Overeem is back, after a 1yr suspension for a failed drug test. Do you think the punishment was enough?

Right now, Lance Armstrong’s career has been erased (technically), Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGuire, Roger Clemens, ARod and others careers are over and disgraced.

Does this discredit MMA as a sport? Is this the black sheep in MMA as Fixed fights were to Boxing? Oh MMA is good, but they are all on juice… Etc.

What do you think?

However you feel, Overeem is back and they heavyweight division better watch out! I think Big Country should go train with Overeem, at the least Overeem can make Big Country lose the fat and become number 1! I think however, if Big Country cuts up he will be a light heavyweight. This could actually be a power packed pair, Overeem as Heavyweight Champ and Big Country as a fit Light Heavyweight Champ!

I am actually wearing Big Country’s Tapout shirt right now lol!

Overeem will be a dominant heavyweight UFC champ soon!!!

m UFC 156 Testosterone Levels Below Normal Levels Below Normal

Use your Use your ← → ← → (arrow) keys to browse more stories (arrow) keys to browse more stories

Results have come back from drug tests administered to UFC 156 fighters, and they indicate that heavyweight Alistair Overeem’s testosterone levels were below normal.

The event at the start of the month was Overeem’s first since he began his nine-month drug suspension and it was marked by an embarrassing KO at the hands of Antonio Silva in the third round.

But those speculating how a drug-free Overeem would fair already saw the consequences of the low testosterone during the weigh-ins for the fight. One blogger on MMA Freak described him as a much “softer” Overeem to the one that defeated Brock Lesnar more than two years before.

According to MMA Junkie, Overeem not only passed the UFC 156 drug test, but his testosterone levels were in fact well below the lower range for the average male.

“[Overeem’s] testosterone total level actually fell below the normal range of 250-1,100ng/dL,” said MMA Junkie. “Overeem’s total testosterone came in at 179 from the test, which was administered the morning after the fight at 8:25am on Feb. 3.”

The low value could explain this “softer” Overeem.

The Dutch fighter, who has spent most of his career fighting untested in Japan at light heavyweight, shocked everyone as he ballooned to a heavyweight behemoth with next to no fat. Speculations of suspected steroid use only grew louder after he missed a drug test in the run-up to his first UFC fight against Brock Lesnar.

The failed test in his next fight confirmed all the suspicions.

But now, following his first loss in over five years, his testosterone levels seem to have fallen far below normal.

The question now is whether this is a sign of his years of steroid abuse, or overtraining in the run up to UFC 156. His languid, almost disinterested performance on the night, hardly suggests it was the latter.

One bit of “good” news Overeem could draw from this, however, is that he could now have a legitimate claim for a therapeutic use exception for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), allowing him to use steroids legally. But whether a fighter who has been found to be a drugs cheat should be allowed to use TRT is sure to spark fierce debate.
-BleacherReport.com

Having low levels isn’t a sign of abuse its a sign of prolonged use or a sign of use with a sudden stop.

Scenario 1: Use and quick stop: when you use it, your body stops producing it to compensate or your levels would be ridiculously high, which is an indication by your testicles shrinking, after you stop it takes a little while to work out of your system and your body to start producing it again, which is why a lot of bodybuilders use HCG with it, because HCG helps to keep the body producing it. When you sudden stop your body will crash making your levels go down.

In theory, he could have never stopped until say 2 weeks before the drug test. knowing that his levels would crash…

Scenario 2: Prolonged use, his body is not producing it as much as it used to, because it is used to getting it (see theory 1) but with prolonged use (a couple years),maybe staying on cycles too long, his body will not be able to recover and supplementation will be needed forever…

I can’t believe he lost!! WOW!

He just ran out of gas! With a year off his cardio should have been crazy sick! Instead it looks like he wasted a year and slacked off…

UFC Heavyweight Champion Contender Alistair Overeem tests Positive for elevated testosterone

Alistair Overeem (36-11 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is unlikely to fight champion Junior Dos Santos (14-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) for the UFC heavyweight title this summer at UFC 146.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) the No. 1 heavyweight contender failed a pre-fight drug test conducted this past Tuesday following a press conference for UFC 146.

Overeem’s “A” sample was flagged for an elevated T/E ratio that exeeded 10-to-1, well over the 6-to-1 limit. Kizer said the heavyweight has the right to request the test’s “B” sample, which, if negative, would make him eligible to receive a fight license.

The former Strikeforce champion was among six top-billed fighters who were tested for the all-heavyweight pay-per-view event, which takes place May 26 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. All were tested for diuretics, masking agents, anabolic steroids and T/E ratios in addition to drugs of abuse.

Dos Santos, Frank Mir, Cain Velasquez, Roy Nelson and Antonio Silva all passed their tests.

It’s not the first time Overeem has run afoul of the NSAC. He was granted a conditional license to fight Brock Lesnar at UFC 141 after missing a pre-fight drug test ordered by the commission, which reinstated out-of-competition testing this past July.

Answering to the commission via telephone during an NSAC hearing held three weeks prior to UFC 141, Overeem said he missed the test because he had flown back to his native Holland to care for his ailing mother and wasn’t made aware of the obligation. When he got word, he submitted an invalid blood test conducted by his personal doctor and then submitted urine that wasn’t tested.

The NSAC gave him a license on the condition that he submit to a drug test conducted by an accredited laboratory, which he did two days later (and subsequently passed), as well as pass a drug test upon arriving in the U.S. for the Lesnar fight and submit to two random tests.

This past Tuesday’s test served as one of those random tests, which also followed a fight-night test at UFC 141.

Because Overeem’s conditional license expired on Dec. 31, the NSAC will not receive a disciplinary complaint against him as it does for licensed athletes. Instead, he will need to appear before the commission should he choose to apply for a license, which notably, hadn’t been filed for UFC 146.

With one half of May 26’s event on the shelf, the UFC may give one of the main-card heavyweights an impromptu title shot.

Look at those pics and you tell me he hasn’t been doing it for a while! Same as his opponent in the pic Brock Lesnar!

USA TODAY MMA
After a Tuesday hearing in Las Vegas, the Nevada Athletic Commission denied Overeem a license to fight in the wake of a test last month that showed he has significantly elevated ratio of testosterone-to-epitestosterone. He has to wait nine months before reapplying.
The ruling was a bit of a concession from the commission, which can enforce a waiting period as long as one year after refusing to issue a license.
MORE: Overeem blames medicine
STORY: Mir to face Dos Santos
Overeem’s camp wanted a continuance of 45-to-60 days to gather more expert testimony to support its client’s case. But after a brief deliberation with his fellow commissioners, chairman Raymond Avansino elected to proceed with the hearing.

Overeem’s attorney, David Chesnoff, asked the commission to consider granting a conditional license, basing his argument largely on the testimony of Dr. Hector Molina, who said he injected Overeem with testosterone in January and provided additional doses of what the physician called “tetra mix” — a blend of anti-inflammatory medicine, along with testosterone — for the fighter to administer himself.
Overeem said that on March 23 he injected one of them on March 23 after consulting with the physician via phone. The fighter told that commission that because of nagging rib injuries bothering him during a press tour for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he phoned Molina and asked if it was safe to take another dose. Molina assured him that it was, according to Overeem.
But Overeem was tested on March 27 following a Las Vegas press conference to promote May’s UFC 146 event, which was supposed to feature Overeem vs. UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. The test revealed Overeem had a 14-to-1 testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio, more than twice the 6-to-1 ratio allowed for fighters in Nevada.
At Tuesday’s hearing, Chesnoff focused on his client’s lack of understanding about Molina’s injection.
Overeem said he first met Molina in June 2011, when Strikeforce held an event in Dallas. Molina worked with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees combat sports in the state, to inspect fighters competing on the June 18 event.
In March, UFC and Pride Fighting Championships veteran Tra Telligman, a Dallas resident, recommended Overeem visit Dr. Molina to address the lingering injuries, at which point Molina recommended and administered the “tetra mix,” according to Overeem’s team.
For much of Tuesday’s session, Nevada commissioners pressed Molina for details about his work with Overeem, as well as outlining exactly what was administered and why.
The commission stuck to the basic principle of fighters being responsible for all chemicals in their bodies, but appeared to offer some sympathy toward Overeem’s plight.
Overeem’s exclusion from May’s UFC 146 event has already cost him a large opportunity and full paycheck, Commissioner Bill Brady said. Had Overeem failed a post-fight drug test, he likely would have been fined any win bonus and 30% of his show money, still leaving him with 70% of his base purse. As such, commissioners unanimously voted for a nine-month waiting period rather than the customary 12 months before reapplying for a license.
The suspension was backdated to the March 27 press conference, so Overeem can apply again on Dec. 27. While it would be a tight window, commissioner Francisco Aguilar suggested Overeem would be eligible for the UFC’s customary year-end event, which is expected to take place Dec. 29 in Las Vegas.
In the meantime, the commission made it clear it doesn’t want to see Overeem applying for a license or competing under the jurisdiction of another commission.
Following the ruling, the fighter declined to comment.

That’s harsh! What if it was an older fighter such as Randy Couture a suspension like that would end his career for good! 9mo is a long time!
