Generation Iron is a 2013 documentary film which follows the world’s leading bodybuilders as they train and compete for the coveted Mr. Olympia title. The film gives front row access to the lives of the top seven bodybuilders in the sport, including Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Branch Warren and Dennis Wolf. Mickey Rourke narrates the film, with appearances by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno and Jay Cutler.

This movie is extremely well done!
For the most part the guys kept their egos out of the film and you got to see the real them! It was really nice!

Phil’s shoulders were rounder than Kai’s it was pretty close! Phil one by one point and I think it was shoulders!

Phil’s front double biceps was crazy too!

Branch is still my Favorite and I like Hidetada also he has amazing symmetry and is probably the most cut, he just needs more size.

They all rock! Best of the Best!

I would have like to see more training and more diet.

But It was very well done! Mickey Rourke did a great job commentating.

The part with Vic and his daughter was priceless!

To Kai, if that’s the truth; life is to short to be a lone wolf, dark horse! Surround yourself with people you care about, if you don’t have any find some!

Kai’s secret sauce lol : it’s a muscle meds commercial… 😭

The deleted scenes were great and shouldn’t have been cut out!

They have a lady they call Grandma (Sibil Peeters) the trainer from Hell. I would have liked to see her training Roelly! At her worst lol

There’s a one on one interview with Phil where he sets his ego aside and just be’s himself. Watch it!

This movie rocks and I can’t wait to watch it again this weekend!

I like Jim Stoppani keeping it real!

I also like the theme song by Mind the gap: Never gonna stop

Movie Review: The Hobbit – The Desolation of Smaug

I have not given a movie review here in a long time, because nothing has been worth my breath (typing hehe)

This movie I have been dying to see! This is the making of my childhood coming to the big screen! I actually found (acquired) an original printing of the hobbit and it was one of the first books I ever read! And the only book (that wasn’t non-fiction) that I ever read multiple times!!

Thorin Oakenshield is a badass in the books!

Life is a mystery in that no one person has the same experience as any other person! However; literature is the closest thing to sharing life as we can get! How so?

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings were created by Peter Jackson and his crew, as well as the actors themselves. The visions created by them are exactly what I pictured in my mind as a child! The casting is superb! They all look as I envisioned as a child!

You see they didn’t go into my head and take it out! I also had nothing to do with the creation of the movies. Therefore; they experienced the same thing I did though the creative and descriptive mind of J.R.R. Tolkien!

That is how you know a writer is truly great! If multiple people experience the same thing!

J.R.R. Tolkien has also influenced the lives of billions upon billions of people! His contributions have led to numerous hours of fun for billions of people through inspiration! Things such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), World of Warcraft (WOW) and many, many other fantasy adventures, movies, games etc…

If I had to pick one thing that influenced my life the most it would be J.R.R Tolkien for God sake (the side of my High School ring has a Dragon on it) I lettered in D&D 😝

This movie is going to be epic!

If you haven’t read the books, I suggest you read them! They will influence your life and help you to unleash your creative side!

The Hobbit originally a 2 movie series has been extended to 3! The Desolation of Smaug is the 2nd in the series, with there and back again, being the third.

At the theater now!
What can I say? Hmmm… It was good. There were some slow parts… Well a bunch of slow parts, but it was good! The new girl was super hot! Legolas was awesome as usual! Gandolf rocked! Bilbo is a badass unlike his whiney nephew (technically cousin) Frodo. If you like the series, you must see it!

If you are not a big fan I suggest waiting till the last movie comes out and watch all 6 movies in order! If you do, you will soon be a fan!

Movie Review: Ted

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted.

In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.

This movie could quite possibly be the funniest movie ever!

Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint! So far what I have seen is hilarious!

I will review next week stay tuned!

Here’s my Ted and he’s wearing my baby shirt sorry for the dust lol

Ted was absolutely hilarious! I can’t wait to buy it on Bluray! I haven’t bought a DVD in a long time and I have over 2000 of them.

Go see this movie! I would wait a little though so you can enjoy it. People were laughing so much and so long that I missed quite a few lines of dialog after a big joke.

I would see it again if a different friend asked me to go with them.

Movie Review: Prometheus

This movie looks awesome!! I can’t wait to see it!

A Ridley Scott movie!

It looks like a prequel to alien.

Movie Review: Tooth Fairy 2

In-name-only sequel stars Larry the Cable Guy as Larry Guthrie, a fun-loving dude eager to win back the heart of would-be love Brooke. After upsetting a child with a loose tooth at the afterschool program where his dream girl works, he is punished by having to become a real-life Tooth Fairy. Dressed in pink tights and ballet shoes, will Larry be able to carry out his tooth-collecting duties and reconcile with Brooke?

This stars Larry the Cable guy and an amazing little girl named: Brady Reiter. She does an amazing job on a poorly written storyline.

It is highly apparent that Larry didn’t get to write the script, because it wasn’t really funny! It was ok to watch wasn’t half bad, but it could have been sooo much better! There was a time or two where I chuckled, but his other movies or only in America, his tv show, I sometimes laugh so hard I think I’m going to fall out of my chair.

The show lacked depth, unlike the 1st movie.

Derek Thompson is ‘The Tooth Fairy,’ a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams

This show had depth, the Rock, Julie Andrews – the case worker (a 007 M inspired character), Billy Crystal (as a 007 Q inspired character, and a huge wingless tooth fairy named Tracy who was his trainer, played by Steven Merchant.

Tooth Fairy 2 had the little girl playing all 3 rolls. It would have been nice to see at least one of the old characters return. The best part of the movie is where she mimics Larry and hits the nail square on the head! She is great! And mark my words, will be a giant star soon! 11 years old and already an incredible speaker. Just watch her in the extras! Watch the movie for her performance, even if you don’t like Larry.

I watched the special features and now I’m crushed!! That’s not his real voice! The accent is exaggerated!

the bad guy never gets caught and never pays for the bad things he did.

If you think: why is this hot girl liking him? That would never happen! Guess again! He is living this movie! His wife is gorgeous! Cara Whitney.

*** Small Spoiler below:***

In one scene Larry takes a tooth from a little girl that catches him. He hits her with powered sugar from his donut bag instead of amnesia dust. Well later in the scene, before he leaves he hits her with sleeping powder not amnesia dust. It never comes back to haunt him! The girl never mentions it at all! Hmmm…

Movie Review: Dream House

Dream House is a 2011 American psychological thriller directed by Jim Sheridan and starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, and Marton Csokas.[3] It was released on September 30, 2011 in the United States and Canada by Universal Pictures and Morgan Creek Productions to mostly bad reviews and poor box office numbers.

Will Atenton (Daniel Craig) quit a high-profile job in Manhattan to relocate his wife, Libby (Oscar®-winner Rachel Weisz), and their two daughters to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was once the murder scene of a mother and her children. When Will investigates, he’s not sure if he’s seeing ghosts or if the tragic events are somehow related to his past. The only clues come from his mysterious neighbor, Ann (Oscar®-nominee Naomi Watts), who helps him piece together this haunting puzzle. Full of twists and suspense, this psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seat.

I just saw this movie on DVD

WTF!!! No Oscars? WTF! That’s why I don’t watch them! Are they the same judges as the Grammy’s? WTF!!!

The movie does take a little intelligence to enjoy, but c’mon!! There are no vampires or werewolves running around!!

This movie is incredible!!! The end made me cry soo bad! Lol and I don’t cry!!! This movie is amazing!!

I’ll probably buy this on DVD!

Movie Review: Act of Valor

It stars Alex Veadov, Roselyn Sánchez, Nestor Serrano, Emilio Rivera, and actual active duty U.S. Navy SEALs and U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen. Are you kidding me?? That’s it Hollywood has finally run out of ideas! This is ridiculous!!

Do you know what the sad part is?…
I will probably see this in the theatre lol!!

I will update this article with my thoughts after I see the movie.

The movie was pretty good, except for the super human powers of Abraham Lincoln with no explanation. Cutting a tree down with one shot, moving super fast. He wasn’t a vampire or anything other than human. It was corny.

But the scenery was amazing! It was really cool to see the Mississippi with steamboats and other scenery. The story was also cool and funny.

Go see this movie for at least the eye candy. It was pretty well made.
