Sal & Dom’s
Sal & Dom’s Pastry Shop was established in 1956, by Sal Rapisarda and his son-in-law Dom. Sal had been an established baker when he arrived from his native Sicily after World War II. Upon his arrival in the U.S., he continued passionately working in this creative profession. Dom had apprenticed throughout the city, at several top bakeries adopting and perfecting some of the finest recipes and procedures.
Although the bakery has changed its locale a few times, our philosophy that a quality, fresh product, at a fair price has not changed. Relying on this principle has created a large, loyal customer base for many years with generations of families. As we proudly enter our fourth generation as a prominent family owned and operated bakery, we look forward to continuing to provide the same high quality products that have become synonymous with our name.
Sal & Dom’s is by far the best pastry shop in the World!!
As other pastry shops expanded and the quality fell (Ferrara’s Little Italy), Sal & Dom’s remained a little local pastry powerhouse. No one beats their Cannoli Cream! They even make the best Wedding Cakes with their world famous Cannoli cream! They have more styles than you can count and they make custom cakes too! (see bottom)
Their cakes are also amazing
Their St Joseph’s cakes are the most stuffed I have ever seen!
With works of art like that it’s hard to believe the best part is; they taste better than they look!
Trust me! You will not find better desserts anywhere on the planet!!
Damn! Now I’m hungry for some!!!
