Recipe: homemade low carb Buffalo Chicken Salad


Chicken: grilled, smoked or rotisserie

Celery (diced)

Gorgonzola blue cheese or any blue cheese

And Franks red hot (buffalo wing sauce)


As most of you know I got an awesome Bluetooth smoker

And I have been smoking 3 chickens a week for my diet.

12-14hrs. I just pour a little mustard bbq sauce on the skin and rub it in and boom let it cook and it’s done.

Pull all the meat off when it’s hot and it just falls off the bone!

Once you have your buckets of meat take some add the ingredients above:

Celery, buffalo wing sauce, and blue cheese and then toss in a closed container! Boom that’s it!

serve over cauliflower rice and Enjoy!

I got exactly what you see here, but my legs are red. I was hoping the legs had a easy on off buckle like the arms. I’m not sure how to wrap the legs. I hope there are directions!

The package is heavy and the arm wraps seemed to be very well made but I only looked at them for a second.

Unfortunately, yesterday was biceps. I’ll have to google if they are good for triceps as well.

Super Saiyan says use occlusion training on arms they use machine curl biceps and rope push down triceps at the end of the workout every 4-6 weeks they say this isn’t something you want to do every workout.

They are using a Mark Bell slingshot band. I believe this one

Which is not a good idea! It is not designed for that! You cannot adjust the bands to make sure the blood traveling into the muscle is still going on and the blood leaving is slowed down.

Don’t use products the way they aren’t intended! And if they are not in good shape, throw them out! I have seen too many people get hurt from ripped lifting straps because they keep them too long! If they start to rip throw them out!

The same goes for these bands! They are designed to be the thickness they are if they start to rip, they are no longer that wide and can cause injury!

These bands are no joke! You have to know exactly what you are doing! Listen to the directions! If there’s pain or numb hands (pins and needles) it’s too tight! You are essentially putting a tourniquet on your arm!


Leaving it on too long, causing neurovascular damage and tissue death. Generally, permanent nerve, muscle and blood vessel damage can occur after about two hours. Placing it too far away from the wound, or on the wrong type of wound (i.e. wounds at a joint) Fabricating a tourniquet from an inappropriate material.

You don’t want your limbs amputated because you are an idiot! So pay close attention to the directions!

Once you learn what you are doing and aren’t a beginner in the gym:

This seems like a great way to help me build leg strength and muscles with my military knee injury! You are supposed to lift 30% of your one rep max until failure.

So, light weight, high reps = success! That’s a dream come true for anyone with a joint injury!

I tried the bands on my arms last night and I’m not sure if I tightened them enough.

I did feel tightness in the muscle especially at the top by the band site. At the end of my workout, I did 4 sets of one arm machine curl and 4 sets of triceps press down. After removing the bands the muscle was still tight at the band site for 15 mins after.

Today my triceps are actually sore, so I believe they did help!

WOW! I just did 4 sets of 15 leg extensions with 70lbs and I feel like I did a full leg workout! Next time I will save it till my last exercise instead of my first! Lol

Ok back to working out!

in case you are wondering which numbers I used because the leg straps have easy to line up numbers, my quads are too big to line up the numbers. So it was 10 and blank Lol I was about 2-3″ away from the 1.

hmm ok new update same day! I gave my legs a 15 min break to return to normal and now I am lifting more than I have since I came back six weeks ago! Maybe the bands increased the blood flow in the quads after releasing it?

Product Review: Gym Gear – Gallon Gear

I was planning on doing a head to head comparison with Isobag. The Isojug has an ice pack.

However; I suspect that it adds a lot of weight (to the already 7lb Gallon) to one side of the jug making it off balance. Anyway; ISOjug declined to participate! I guess they were scared to go up against Gallon Gear!

I got my Gallon Gear!!

The neoprene cover is nice and thick! It looks to be strong and stitched really well!

It wasn’t the easiest to put the cover one initially, but I did get it on!

The key hook looks like it can be easily ripped off. I prefer putting it in the mesh pocket. The pocket is supposed to be for your wallet, but I don’t trust anyone enough to use it! It does keep my key tight and secure inside. I will think of another usage for the clip (possibly my gym tag!) that way I can easily scan in! If I decide to do it, I will take the card and a drill bit and drill the hole larger to easily clip it on.

The cellphone pocket in front or id holder is the best part! My phone always makes my Adidas pants fall down and in the summer I wear fight shorts that don’t have any pockets, except a small inside pocket for my money clip. I will try putting my cell in the clear holder or in the mesh pocket and see which one I prefer.

Overall I am really psyched as I don’t like carrying a gallon, but now it has a purpose.

What I am missing is a shoulder strap or some way to hook it on a cardio machine as a gallon will not fit in their cup holders. You might want to think about that for the Gallon Gear 2.0.

The designs are really cool! The American Flag is my favorite! But they also have camo, Black, pink and a bunch more! The more options you have to unleash your personality in the gym.

Another idea for Gallon Gear would be customization and branding! Charge extra to add a business name/logo, a school/university’s name/logo, a person’s name or person’s nickname! I would put Bad Company on mine as that’s my nickname!

I’m sure some gyms, schools and companies would love that option! The Butler Bulldogs (colors: blue and gold)

Especially, if you also let them pick the ink color. Like Bad Company in Gold on the American Flag, as most flags have gold trim.

Reusable Gallon container

First off it’s just under a gallon! So, be careful pouring in your gallon of water! You will spill and if you add things to your water like BCAAs, you will have to drink a little to make some room for the powder.

Tomorrow, I will be adding Rich Piana’s All Day You May! And All Day I Will! 💪🏼 😝

I love the black color bottle (there are multiple colors to choose from (black, blue, green, purple, red and pink) I feel the black might help me not pay attention to how much water is left and just drink it lol!

It may even help protect the BCAAs from sunlight (and spoiling) kind of like a dark colored beer bottle protects the beer.

If the full gallon isn’t for you, they also offer a half gallon size.

But I would stay away from that and just be hardcore! Lol

You should drink a gallon a day especially if you are working out! So if you choose the half gallon, somewhere along the line you will have to refill! So, where are you going to keep the half full gallon? Are you buying 2 – 1/2 Gallon reusable bottles and carrying both to work or one to work and leave one in your car? Will it freeze if left in the car? Do you leave it at home? Are you home early enough to finish the other half gallon before bed without having to wake up 20 times during the night to pee?

Too many unanswered questions! So man up and stick to the gallon!

Wait; maybe you have kids that want to mimic Dad or Mom? Especially, if they are active in sports! You can buy them the half gallon!

Your son has football practice. Mom: Here’s a half gallon with Gatorade, I put some money in an envelope in the mesh pocket in case you want to buy a snack. Your student id is in the clear window, so you know which one is yours! Have fun!

It’s 2:37 and it’s already half empty!

I’m heading to the gym at 3:15. I’ll be there about 3:35-3:45. I’ll have my preworkout (so no drinking from the gallon), but then I’ll sip a little during the mid part of my workout. The hard question is where to put it while doing cardio after I’m done with weights, so I can sip some every 5 mins during cardio workout.

Found a place for the gallon! **Update** December 26th 2017

The second day I’m using it and it’s already half empty! 3:02pm leaving for the gym in 13 mins!

I think it’s nice because it’s sitting there reminding me to drink and I don’t have to get up and go find water somewhere.

Happy new year!

Tomorrow I will be using Alkazone alkaline drops in the Gallon Gear! The directions say 3 drops per 8oz glass. There are 16 8oz glasses in a gallon therefore the Gallon needs 48 drops of Alkazone! The Alkazone review is on here also. Check out all men are created equal, but what about water? too.

I will also be using Rich Piana’s all day you may BCAA’s watermelon flavor.

I have seen 2 people at the gym carrying a Gallon Gear. A guy and a girl.

He loves his gallon gear and takes advantage of all the features: keychain, phone pocket and wallet pocket.

She also loves her pink Gallon Gear. It is always with her, but I haven’t spoken to her about it. She is an IFBB Pro Women’s Physique! Rocking the Gallon Gear!

Also, I did as I promised I bored the hole bigger and added the gym tag! Except I keep it the other side out so the barcode is ready for the scanner!

**Update** January 19th 2018

I learned a hard lesson at 5:30 am today! The original reusable gallons cap is 90% useless! I knocked over my bcaas in the dark and the cap popped off and 1/2 a gallon all over the floor! I hope my carpet isn’t stained! I definitely didn’t want to be on my knees scrubbing the floor at 530am! Great start to the day! Ugh!

At 8:53am I realized the Gallon was executed! As I wore another 1/8 of the container!

Good news! I am getting the new black more durable container and I was told the cap is also much better! Just by looking at it, the angles are much smoother and the plastic itself looks much softer like it will have some give to it.

I can’t wait! Thank you again Gallon Gear for being so awesome! What a great company! I strongly suggest doing Business with them!

Recipe: Low Carb, Low Fat General Tso’s Turkey

Gen Tso’s Ground Turkey


3lbs ground turkey 

2 red peppers (any color)

1 bag riced Cauliflower 

Mushrooms (I used fresh baby Bella’s this time)

Olive oil 

1/4 cup Braggs liquid aminos 

1/2 cup rice vinegar (no sodium no sugar added) 

1 spice packet of Gen Tsos chicken 

Meat seasoning optional: 

Cayenne pepper

Black pepper 

Chipotle pepper

And I topped it with jalepeno pepper flakes 


Pour olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan a little extra is ok! 

Brown the meat and season it then drain offf the excess oil into the original container and throw out! Don’t clog your sink drain! 

Then add the remaining ingredients and stir thouroughly! 

Cover and cook on 5 for 10mins 

Add the jalepeno flakes garnish 

Remove from heat and allow to cool a little and then enjoy! It’s that easy! 

For the authentic Asian feel you can top with hot sauce and drizzle sirarcha mayo! 

**Update** July 2nd this time they only had Broccoli and Cauliflower rice mix, which is great because I love both!  

Recipe: Low carb, low fat, Taco Turkey Sola

This is a recipe given to me from female bodybuilder Women’s Physique competitor Caridad Sola! 


Olive oil 

3lbs ground turkey 

1 bag of Riced Cauliflower 

2 red bell peppers (any color will do)

1 packet of 30% less taco seasoning 

1 8oz can of tomato sauce 



I added: 

Cayenne pepper 

Chipotle pepper 

Black pepper

My store wanted to charge $5.95 for riced cauliflower and this bag of diced up was $2.99 so I went with the better buy! 

You can go fresh mushrooms, I used can because they last longer and I will have them on hand. Make sure you buy the no sodium added! 

Chop up peppers and mushrooms if you have to and set aside. 

Pour olive oil into a deep pan to cover the bottom, don’t worry if you pour too much the extra benefits will be good for you! 

Brown the turkey meat and pour off the extra fat back into the original container. Don’t pour it down the drain! You will eventually clog it! I cooked it on a 5 heat

Add the remaining ingredients cook on high for 10mins and then turn to 2 and simmer for 20mins. 

At first it will look like there isn’t enough liquid, but once you cook it, the juices from the pepper will release and add to the tomato sauce! 

Serve and enjoy! 

If you want to get shredded add this to your diet regimine and work your butt off in the gym!

I made a second batch and it came out much better! The only thing I did different was brown the meat with the additional spices. I still waited to add the taco spice packet after the meat was browned and the other ingredients were added. 

Spice it up!

The riced Cauliflower is more money in my store. The benefit is in the cook time! 

10 mins on high and 5mins to simmer after the meat is brown because you don’t need the extra time to make the cauliflower bits to get soft. The riced Cauliflower cooks really fast. The extra 5 mins is to make sure the peppers are cooked and the juices released. 

Check it out try it both ways see what you like best! You can also grab a whole head of Cauliflower and pulse it in a food processor/vitamix for the ultra money saver! If you have one.

In modern medicine, theobromine is used as a vasodilator (a blood vessel widener), a diuretic (urination aid), and heart stimulant.

Theobromine increases urine production. Because of this diuretic effect, and its ability to dilate blood vessels, theobromine has been used to treat high blood pressure. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition notes that historic use of theobromine as a treatment for other circulatory problems including arteriosclerosis, certain vascular diseases, angina pectoris, and hypertension should be considered in future studies.
Following its discovery in the late 19th century, theobromine was put to use by 1916, when it was recommended by the publication Principles of Medical Treatment as a treatment for edema (excessive liquid in parts of the body), syphilitic angina attacks, and degenerative angina.
In the human body, theobromine levels are halved between 6–10 hours after consumption.
Possible future uses of theobromine in such fields as cancer prevention have been patented.[25]

Theobromine also shows promise in tooth decay prevention and has been shown in some studies to surpass the more traditional fluoride. Advantages include the ability to safely ingest it, obviating the “do not swallow” warnings on fluoride mouthwash.

**Note** That would explain why I have peed at least 25 times today and counting! I thought it was because I have drank a lot of water and I have been working out, but it is definitely this!
