What is Cleansing?
The cleansing process allows your digestive system to rest while fully nourishing your body with live enzymes and nutrients. Our cleanse programs are designed to rejuvenate and alkalize your body. The reward of a successful cleanse is enhanced well-being at all levels: you will feel leaner, have a glowing complexion and live each day with increased vitality and energy.

The duration of a cleanse varies based on your current level of health and prior experience with cleansing and cold pressed juice. We offer four options for beginners and expert cleansers alike. In addition, our Cleansing Coaches are available to personalize a program to suit your individual needs.

Before a Cleanse
To ensure you get the best results from your cleanse, we suggest modifying your diet up to a week before you begin.

We recommend eliminating:

Caffeine
Alcohol
Nicotine
Refined Sugar
Wheat
Processed Foods
In place of these items, we suggest consuming 80% raw foods, including fresh fruit and vegetables and an ample amount of water to keep you hydrated. To introduce the juices to your system before cleansing, you can also drink two to four cold pressed juices during the day and enjoy a dinner consisting of salad, steamed vegetables and a serving of lean protein.

During
Drinking a juice every two to three hours ensures that you flood your body with rich nutrition throughout the day.

Water is extremely important during your cleanse as it flushes your organs and blood system of toxins. Juices drench your body with live nutrients, encouraging your cells to release toxins and allowing the water to carry them away.

Drink one juice every 2½ to 3 hours

We suggest your dietary goal be to maintain an alkalinity of 7.36, as your body performs best when the blood is slightly alkaline.

The body’s pH is measured on a scale of 0–14. At 7.36 your pH is balanced and anything below 7.36 too acidic. An acidic body is prone to fatigue, stress and inflammation, and can experience a loss of lean muscle mass and weight gain. Keeping your body’s alkalinity at 7.36 or above is optimal and achievable with a balanced diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruit and cold pressed green juice.

Alkalization is the process of alkalizing your body, allowing it to thrive and ward off disease.

To achieve an optimal alkaline balance:

Drink your body weight in ounces of pure water per day

This place was really cool, fun and bright! But highly overpriced!

The Raw Chocolate Chia pudding was extremely tiny and about $8.00

The PEANUT BUTTER AÇAÍ BOWL was $7.50 and twice the size of the Chia pudding.

All that being said they were both delicious! The pudding was creamy and with the fresh raspberries the flavor just jumped out unexpectedly when you bit them. Would I get it again? Absolutely! But not very often due to the price!

The PEANUT BUTTER AÇAÍ BOWL was totally marketed wrong! I wasn’t sure exactly what I was getting! It turned out to be like frozen yogurt. I wasn’t sure if it was hot or cold, or just a bowl of fruit in a bowl with peanut butter on top.

They also had almond butter for those that prefer that.

Overall; check this place out! There are numerous locations around NYC. If you are in the area stop by!

**Update** July 7th 2014
I had a fee products over the weekend. The Killer XX juice was potent and it’s kind of like fire cider, but it’s more gentle due to the apple in it, but the cayenne and ginger is still strong! I liked it a lot.

The quinoa brownie was dry and tasted like wood chips just like the carrot cake both I can do without!

Now comes the smoothie!
The Blue Velvet is amazing! The nut butter is strong and the berries enhance the flavor overall it’s probably one of the best tasting and healthiest shakes I have ever had! I love it and will definitely get it again! However; I want to see how much whey protein they add next time!

Tried to make my own blue velvet today, it was close and was delicious, but not quite.
